Ram PROMASTER — Years to Avoid

Main issue: The Blind Spot Detector is not working. The van can be inspected upon request. This is a large vehicle and blind spot detection is an extremely important safety feature. A Dodge dealer found the following stored codes: U1700-87, c100B29, and c100e29 - I don't know if these are blind spot sensor code

Main issue: IN LESS THEN 30 DAYS MINE HAS FAILED 21 TIMES DEALERS SAY NOTHING WRONG/NORMAL TO ALL PROBLEMS MOST THIS HAPPENED BEFORE 1500 MILES ON IT. NOW HAS 2300 MILES ON IT. 2500 159" HIGH ROOF 1) 2 NO STARTS. JUMPED AND STARTED. 2ND TIME IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF AND UNHOOKED JUMP. IT RESTART

Main issue: 1 THE LIGHT COMING ON OFF ON DASH BOARD ITS SAYING RUNNING LIGHTS OUT I CHECK ALL THE LIGHTS EVERYTHING WORKING ITS JUST COMING ON AND OFF ITS SELF WHEN MY HEADLIGHTS ITS ON . ON MY VEHICLES EVEN DOESNT HAVE THE RUNNNING LIGHTS 2 IM ADDING ANTIFREEZE LIKE EVERY 10K TO 15K MILLES DEALER TOLD ME THAT

Main issue: Speedometer units and units used to set cruise control randomly change from MPH to km/h occasionally when the vehicle is started. No safety risk. Problem has occurred multiple times but dealer was not able to reproduce. There are no warning lamp associated with this issue.
