- • LET ME START BY SAYING YOUR SALES TEAM WAS GREAT, MADE THE CAR BUYING PART OF THIS EASY....MAYBE TOO EASY IN THAT I MADE A QUICK DECISION TO BUY WITHOUT RESEARCHING WHAT COMPLAINTS THERE WERE ABOUT THIS VEHICLE. I AM A HOME HEALTH NURSE AND TRADED MY HONDA ACCORD IN TO YOUR DEALERSHIP AS I NEEDED SO
- • 2018 FORD EDGE WITH 25,000 MILES, TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE SERVICE DEPT TOLD ME THE ENGINE IS DEFECTIVE AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Ford Edge and 2017 Lincoln MKZ vehicles. On vehicles with 2.0L gas engines and six-speed automatic transmissions, the torque converter weld studs may have been inadequately welded.
Risk: If the torque converter weld studs fail, the torque converter will not be connected to the engine flexplate and the vehicle will lose the ability to move, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the torque converters, free of charge. The recall began on July 5, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 17S16 (S2). Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 17V-427.

- ☐TRANSMISSION: THE FRONT AXLE, (KNOWN AS THE HALF SHAFT) BLEW OUT ALL THE GREASE IN THE RUBBER BOOT. THE INSIDE FRONT , DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE, SUSPENSION AND BRAKES WERE COVERED WITH GREASE. CAME FROM THE DEALERSHIP LIKE THIS, AUTO HAD 42 MILES AT TIME THIS WAS NOTICED.

A VERY SLIGHT TOUCH OF THE BRAKE PEDAL WILL CAUSE THE CAR TO IMMEDIATELY STOP AND ANYONE IN THE CAR WILL SLIDE FORWARD IN THEIR SEAT IF NOT OUT OF THE SEAT. THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH BOTH MYSELF AND MY WIFE DRIVING
