• On Feb 8th, 2022 the four wheel drive quit working giving message to service 4wd. The front tires turned and the back tired did not turn and the car did not move forward or backwards. If this would have happened in an area that was remote and no people around I would have not been able to get help.
• Display on dash is stuck in "night mode", during the day I can not see my speedometer nor my gas gauge.
• I was on the entrance ramp for the freeway and the gas pedal disengaged. I could not accelerate and my car slowed down. A message on the display said to service electronic throttle. SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:HEAD RESTRAINT14/04/2022

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Jeep Compass vehicles. The front seat head restraints were not welded properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "Head Restraints."

Risk: Improperly welded head restraints can result in an increased risk of injury to seat occupants during a crash.

Fix: Dealers will replace both front seat head restraints, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2022. Owners may contact FCA US LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is Z36.
