  • THE AUTO START STOP ON THIS VEHICLE IS EXTREMELY VIOLENT IN ITS RESTARTS. IF YOUR FOOT IS NOT PRESSED HARD ON THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE WILL JERK FORWARD WHEN IT AUTOMATICALLY RESTARTS.   • I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR JUST STARTED LOSING POWER. I PULLED OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THE CAR HAD ANTIFREEZE UNDER THE ENGINE AREA AND WOULD NOT START AGAIN. THE CAR HAS UNDER 90,000 MILES. REPLACED THE ORIGINAL WATER PUMP AT 40,000 MILES. THE NEW WATER PUMP WENT OUT AT 89,0
  • WHILE MERGING ONTO INTERSTATE, VEHICLE SUDDENLY BEGAN SMOKING, SHUDDERING AND LOSING POWER. CONTINUED DOWN INTERSTATE UNTIL I COULD EXIT. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP:MOUNTING PLATE/FLANGE12/08/2021

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2010-2013 Range Rover Sport and 2010-2016 LR4 vehicles equipped with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines. The fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank may crack, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.

Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel outlet flange, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed October 7, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2022. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N623.
