3 complaints- • DRIVING CAR ON STREET AT ABOUT 45 MPH. SUDDENLY CAR JERKED AND STALLED. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER. SMOKE CAME FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT INITIALLY THEN ENGINE CAUGHT FIRE. ENTIRE FRONT OF CAR ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND MELTED BEFORE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED.
- • CAR SHUT DOWN WHILE IN TOLL BOOTH. WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE KEY EVERYTHING WENT BLACK ON DASH. COULD NOT GET OUT OF CAR DUE TO TOLL BARRIERS. THEN ABOUT 30 SEC LATER MESSAGE CAME ON DASH THAT NEEDED TO MOVE KEY FOB CLOSER - I DO NOT REMEMBER EXACT WORDING. I TOOK KEY OUT OF MY RIGHT FRONT POCKET AND WAVE
- • Sudden loss of coolant while driving, without any prior warning lights. In my opinion that is unacceptable in a car with a little over 30k miles. F-Type forums all over the world would indicate this is a relatively common issue with some of the pipes under the supercharger being the suspected issue.

Recalls (3)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar Land Rover) is recalling certain 2014-2015 Jaguar F-TYPE vehicles previously remedied under Recall 14V-714. The seatbelt harness connector which connects the Seatbelt Tension Sensor (STS) to the Occupant Classification Sensor Control Module (OCSCM) may not have been correctly wired. As a result, the Restraint Control Module (RCM) may not accurately detect if an adult or child is occupying the seat.
Risk: In the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment, an incorrect classification may result in the passenger frontal air bag deploying even if there is a child in the front passenger seat, increasing their risk of injury.
Fix: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the seat belt assembly and repair the seatbelt tension sensor harness as necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 3, 2019. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H208.
