  • STEERING GEAR LOCKED UP. WE NOTICED IT WAS MAKING NOISE SO WE STOPPED DRIVING IT AS A PRIMARY PATROL CAR AND DROVE IT TO THE NEAREST FORD DEALERSHIP (APPROXIMATELY 15 MILES AWAY) AND THE STEERING QUIT WORKING IN THEIR DRIVEWAY.
  • WHILE BACKING THE VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MECHANIC. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS POWERED DOWN AND THEN RE-STARTED THE POWER STEERING BEGAN WORKING AGAIN. NO KNOWN CAUSE AS VEHICLE WAS CHECKED.
  • VEHICLES ELECTRONICALLY ASSISTED STEERING UNIT FAILED. IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING, SYSTEM FAILED AND STEERING IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN.
