  • WHILE INSPECTING CARS, DISCOVERED HOW HOT THE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP WAS, UNIT 252. ON INSPECTION OF THE WIRING CONNECTION, FOUND SCORCHING IN THE CONNECTOR. ON 6 OTHER CARS THIS HAS RESULTED IN A PIN HOLE MELT THROUGH IN THE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP ALLOWING GAS TO ESCAPE UNDER THE BACK SEAT. THIS IS
  • WHILE REPLACING THE FUEL TANK FOR A CRACK (OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN) EXAMINED THE FUEL PUMP. ON THE SIDE OF THE PUMP, INSIDE THE TANK, A BROWN HEATING MARK WAS FOUND IN THE ROOF OF THE PUMP, WHERE THE BLACK AND YELLOW WIRES PASS THROUGH THE BODY. THIS IN THE SAME LOCATION OF WHERE AT LEAST 6 OTHER VEHICL
