• CAR WAS PURCHSED ON MARCH 30TH 2019. THE SEATING OF THE CAR WAS MULFUCTIONING EVEN BEFORE THE DELIVERY OF THE CAR. • Vehicle starter failed to crank the engine. You can smell electric type smoke coming from the under carriage. Vehicle stopped at a light and could not move. Nearly caused a crash or worse a fire. No warning lights or indicators. Just won’t start and smoke.
• Engine starter of my BMW X7 failed and required replacement. BMW has issued a safety recall "campaign number 24V-576: Engine Starter" related to this issue. Engine starter on my vehicle failed before I had a chance to get software upgrade as suggested by BMW.
• When trying to start the vehicle it will say that the starter has overheated and to try restarting again in xx seconds. This occurs randomly and the car does not indicate that the engine is over heating, just the starter. When looking online it appears there is an active recall for this very issue b

• This is in regard to the shark fin roof mounted antenna leaking. It causes issues with the SOS feature, navigation (reporting wrong location). You report that BMW SIB 65 12 22 includes any vehicle paint application produced prior to the date of Jan 10, 2022. You have another complaint on 12-16-22
• I originally took my car in for an oil change at Braman BMW in Brickell they said, "there is a recall on your vehicle would you like to fix it" I said "sure". So, they "apparently fixed it 2 days later the same thing they said they fixed (the Recall which had to deal with the starter) my car stopped
• On October 18, 2024 I got a check engine light after starting my vehicle when leaving the grocery store. I stopped at a mechanic shop near by and was told the code they pulled stated that there was an “Air Flap Control Malfunction.” I’ experienced this same issue a year earlier on December 15, 2024

• BACKREST LOCK, RIGHT SEAT BACKREST IN THIRD ROW OF SEATS IS NOT IN END POSITION. REMOVE ANY OBSTRUCTING OBJECTS IF NECESSARY. READJUST SEAT SETTING. ( ERROR MESSAGE)
• Left seat backrest in third row of seats is not in the end position necessary. This is the error message that is consistently displayed in my vehicle and upon reading the 2022 recall this is dangerous however, my bmw was omitted from the recall!
