Nissan TITAN — Years to Avoid

Main issue: CUMMINS 5.0 LITER ENGINE MISSING OUT AT 1700 RPMS, YOU CAN REV THE DIESEL ENGINE TO 1700 RPMS AND THEN ALL OF SUDDEN THE UNIT STARTS MISSING OUT. BUT YET A CUMMINS ENGINEER STATED THAT SOME OF THEM DO IT, AND SOME DON'T. WELL BEING A CUMMINS TECH MY SELF I KNEW THIS WAS NOT TRUE. NISSAN REFUSES

Main issue: VERY SOON AFTER I PURCHASED THE TITAN TRUCK, RANDOMLY, WHILE THE CAR SITS IDLE OR WHILE DRIVING THE TRUCK ANYWHERE (I.E. ON CITY STREETS, ON THE HIGHWAY, IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD) THE TRUCK PRODUCES A STRONG SCENT OF DIESEL MIXTURE/EXHAUST FUMES IN THE CABIN OF THE TRUCK. THE FUMES ARE SO STRONG IT MAKES

Main issue: MY JOB REQUIRES ME TO TRAVEL A LOT AND IN DOING SO WHEN I'M EITHER MERGING ONTO THE INTERSTATE OR NEEDING TO PULL OUT AT INTERSECTIONS FROM A DEAD STOP . IT'S AS THO MY TRUCK STALLS AND MY THROTTLE RESPONSE GOES DEAD . LEAVING THE OTHER CARS DO COME CLOSE IN REAR ENDING ME . IT'S SCARY ESPECIALLY WH

Main issue: The truck is prone to harsh transmission shifting. It is abrupt and harsh enough when coming to a stop to create a safety issue. If one is not hard on the brakes at the time, the truck will lurch forward with the last downshifts, with the potential to strike pedestrians or the car in front. My Tita
