14 complaints- • While driving the Electric Power Steering turned off along with any services that relied on it, like the Lane Keep Assist and Lane Follow Assist. When this happened the power steering went out and it was almost impossible to turn the steering wheel presenting a safety risk.
- • Vehicle stated “check lane keep system”, and proceeded to lock the steering wheel whilst I was doing 65-70 mph on Interstate-5’s Grapevine section. I immediately had to apply brakes, turn on my hazard lights, and then nurse the car to the exit.
