- • Forward attention warning camera continues to malfunction stating camera is obscured even when not. If cruise is allowed to be engaged the camera will randomly decide it doesn’t detect your face and will hard brake to stop the car. This has happened multiple times to me, narrowly avoiding collision
- • We purchased our '24 Santa Fe hybrid on 9/18/24 new with no problems. On 10/8/24, about three weeks later, I was stopped at a stoplight after exiting the freeway. When the light turned green, I accelerated and felt a clunk, then the car would not accelerate past about 30 mph. Several warning lights

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Santa Fe and Santa Fe HEV vehicles. The main floor wiring harness may chafe against the passenger-side second-row bench seat assembly and become damaged, which can cause the air bags to deploy unintentionally or prevent the air bags from deploying in a crash.
Risk: An air bag that deploys unintentionally can increase the risk of an injury. An air bag that does not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair, or replace the wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 22, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 265.
